Anyone see this? They used the Cascadia to help test the ability for a car to draft a semi. Pretty neat stuff; I'm watching it right now.

i just posted my thoughts on that under "discussion about EVERYTHING"
-
where do they get thier trucks that they use?
-
they went to the freightliner dealership for this myth. a freightliner employee drove the truck.
-
ok thank you for your information. but do you know where they got the other trucks for thier other myth's? i think they get them for free or does the show pay for them?
-
discovery channel probably gives them a massive budget for their stuff. some stuff is probably donated (allowing the freightliner to be on the show might have been free since it's advertising for freightliner.)
they probably get discounts for some stuff in exchange for airtime (again, advertising), and some stuff they just get at scrapyards. -
o ok thank you veery much for your information.
-
The Cascadia used wasn't from a Freightliner dealership, it was from Freightlinter itself. None of the dealerships have any yet.
-
That truck came directly from the Freightliner plant on Swan Island in Portland oregon.
-
It was a nice truck but after watching that episode of Mythbusters I will never support them again. That was the stupidest thing showing people that its a fact that they can save more and more gas the closer they get. I'd hate to see someone die but if they do I hope their family those two idiots broke and homeless.
