Been on the bus now for 3 hours (out of 35) and it's already testing my vaunted ability to sleep on anything moving. I napped about 30 minutes, but the guy next to me is drinking a beer and being mildly encroaching. Hopefully can sleep between Barstow and Vegas and can charge my phone in Vegas. No charger here and no promised internet. Wheeeee!

Sitting in downtown Las Vegas. Finally slept a lot of the drive between Barstow and Vegas. Watching Law & Order with a vending machine mocha, but still can't find an outlet to plug in and recharge.

W/S does offer the option to fly and a part of me wishes I'd taken it, but the rest of me says this is part of the adventure.

One last note to self: vending machine mochas are not yummy, even on three hours of sleep. :biggrin_2556:

Ahh, found an outlet tucked away in a corner, which is good, because I was at 50% battery and only 10 hours down. Going to let the battery charge to full if possible before I go get back in line. 1.5 hours until the bus to St George, UT.

Guy sitting in front of me (Gary, I think?) is headed to W/S, too. Guess we'll be going all the way in on the same bus now. He's a former Swiftie who recert'd with AIG in Las Vegas and seems okay.

Seeing snow... really happy to be out of CA citylife and out on the open road. 17 hours down, Q18 to go.

Good luck up there. Guess I won't be seeing you there. They called me last minute and said no. Said my application wasn't denied and is still open, but they're not going to hire me atm. So back to looking for jobs.

Oh, that sucks! :( Yeah, try May or Gordon... but it won't feel right for you to not be there.

About to board for the last stretch from Butte to Missoula. Two more hours; let's get this thing started! :biggrin_2554:
