Hey yall. I'm up here in the Seattle area. Been runnin the port haulin cans. Gettin tired of all the BS I gotta deal with at my company and I'm lookin around elsewhere. I see Knight Transportation has an Intermodal dept. I talked to the guy there and I would like to think he didn't lie to me about pay and all that good stuff but recruiters all lie just to fill seats. So I'd love to hear about your good and bad experiences so I can make a judgment call here. Or if you know of another good company that will get me home every night I'd love to hear about them as well.
Thanks for your time, keep it 'tween the paint and rubber side down!

How good is Knight?

BWHAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAA You have to be kidding me? Maybe you need to look around this forum a bit. If you don't have time to just browse, go up to the tool bar and where it says Google Custom Search, just enter the word "Knight."
Oh by the way, welcome to the forum. I'm NOT trying to run you off. It is just that this is a topic that has been beaten to death. And for good reason. -
knight treated me very well the almost 2 years i was there....no complaints here...matter of fact i made more $ there than pulling flats otr and running local. thats just my experience

You don't work there now though, do you.

no i no longer work for knight..i run local now, home everyday..but if i was still otr i would still be with knight no doubt
Pipe Mike Thanks this. -
Knight was great to me as well. If I wasn't home everyday I'd be with Knight. Great company IMO.

I drive for Knight Refrigerated, and I'm pretty happy with them. I make decent money. I don't know anything about their intermodal operation. I run 48 states and I'm a trainer under Squire Refrigerated. I've been working for KR for 5 yrs so far and will probably retire from them in about 10.

Yeah I found out that the intermodel drivers only get home on the weekends. Two years ago that would've worked for me but not now. Thanks for the feed back ya'll
