That's they way I was going to suggest going to Wally World. That one actually isn't to badd to unload at, one of the few I actually don't mind going to. @Saienga to be honest with you, I rarely have a problem making appointments by being rushed. Ya, every now & then it gets tight but that's trucking. Most of the places we go to are pretty good about loading, sure there are times that you are reeeeeeeealy close.

Oh yeah Brian, sounds like something is goofy with your batteries so you may want to have the shop test them. Hell, I've done a 34 and I didn't start to get the buzzer until about 30 hours in.

True, true. Beats the stuffing out of having 24 hours to go 300 miles.

A few miles out of the way but it would allow me to go home and then come back Monday and make delivery you guys think they would have a problem with that? Tractor is 657 for whoever asked

Thanks for the input guys. I decided to run 35, mostly because I was looking at 695 miles via 65/64, which I knew was a practical impossibility. 35 is 47 miles shorter, but you're right Larry, that double nickel is an SOB. If I knew beforehand there wasn't a bear in sight, we could have made some time! I thought taking 35 direct from 70 was a good idea, but in hindsight I think I should have cut down from 75. Anyway, I'm here at the 191 at a Shell half stop for an 8 (not enough time for a ten) with 21 minutes on the clock. That will get me halfway there haha.

Monday I get the rest of this off at the port of Norfolk, yikes. I've never been to anyone's port. Anything I need to know? Any truck stops up there besides that awful Big Charlie's place? Can I park on the street near delivery somewhere, or is that somewhere I don't wanna be at night?

Mushroom I'm kinda new myself but yeah if you got lots of extra time on the load I don't think anyone will mind.

Hawk I tell ya what, I'll forgive you if you trade trucks with me :) This friggen Petercar...I stopped at that TA on 64 before the bridge into Charlestonland and the Pilot, and when I started rolling again, I was like hmmm where'd my power go? Looked at the boost gauge and surprise surprise the mystery de-rate is back, just in time for 77! I shut it off two times after coming through the toll booths hoping to reset it, to no avail. Then when I started pulling up out of the 77/64 split the boost was back!? No fault codes.

How do you like the mirrors on the 660? I think they are too small.? I want big truck mirrors on my KW!

Brian there's a little truck stop not far from Big Charlies, sorry can't remember the name. When did you go out? I left this past Monday and git into Waynesboro tonight after a drop at Front Royal. My stupid Qaulcomm has been ripping me off on driving time, when I got to RDC I had over 1.5 hours left when I left I had 51 minutes, stopped at Tom's Brook and I had 35 minutes left WTF! Needless to say I went over my 11. Good luck in S*it City aka Norfolk, that's what we called it back in the during my time in the USMC. BTW I had 6 hours left on my 70.

    be safe
