Don't worry so much where the company is located but more about where they run. If they have lanes near your location it makes it easier to get home time
Southern Ontario is a big area with lots of farm trucking that head both north and south. And most of the companies are small enough they may take a look at you

most insurance companies look at how many points you have accumulated, and most don't want more than 3, and it looks like you will have a hard time finding employment until some of those things are off your record.

I would honestly move anywhere as long as it meant guaranteed work. Or a good shot at it, anyways.
I don't have much family in Canada, I wouldn't be taking a huge hit from a move.
Any more information on opportunities that may be available in Alberta? Where in Alberta specifically? I really appreciate all the replies. -
You will have a hard time finding employment especially cause you are new with no experience and that some of the charges are so recent. As a driver you need to drive responible and pretect your license and keep your abstarct as clean as you can, and if you do get a ticket for soemthing always fight it.
-
Look at places like CalFrac and Sanjel in AB. CalFrac will fly you in and back, if they hire you, and you will get hired for a lot more than just driving. -
i would suggest saving your money until your get your licence cleared up, as a no experience driver it's the insurance companies that will very likely have the last say not the employer.

check saskjob.ca---lots of oil field jobs there---usually you need your tickets--but some companys will help you get what you need--like h2s alive and confines spaces and what ever
-
Get yourself an traffic attorney. It'll cost you some good change but it will be worth EVERY cent, not to mention the possibilties are high to get the charges DISMISS.

you can get a job in theese trucking fields if your desperate....livestock,garbage,grain or gravel....most of theese places have a high turnover...gl

I agree with Diesel Dave.... Go to like X-copper or other traffic ticket fighters like this... I think it's gonna be around $300 or something but they will be a great help in making the tickets disappear or changed to a lesser charge of some sort...
I would say that there are lots of companies that will turn you down due to the tickets and you lack of experience does not help this.. I mean if you have 10-15 years and those tickets you would have a chance at a job because they know you can drive a truck ...
I would have asked this question before paying for the school and not after.... It would have made more sense to do it that way.. Cause as far as I see it... It's pointless asking after payment is made cause what's done is done... You can have prevent payment if you asked before...
With that being said...
I wouldn't let the tickets discourage you in anyway... Nor would I let that stop me from applying to the big companies either... You may or may not have a chance.. The way I see it tho.... You DEFINITELY will not get a job at any company if you don't apply... What is the worst that is going to happen..... They will call you and say "sorry we cannot hire you due to the driving record" and maybe "apply when your driving record is clean"... So I would apply at every company "big and small" and hope for the best....
I don't know where in Southern Ontario you live, but if you live near Toronto... I would check out Apache Freight Lines in Stouffville.... I ran for them awhile back smaller outfit about 30 trucks I think...
Good luck on the training and job search.....
