Also, I got my CDL from a local accredited school here in Utah. Todd's CDL Services. Real good guy to work with in financing.

Congradulations! and good luck--while you are looking please keep an eye on the cvsa scores of the companies you are looking at--while neither Pride nor Clark are in Bad shape--each on does have alert status--on driver issues--maybe no big deal--but something to keep in mind!

Pride does take new graduates and even has a CDL reimbursment program according to their website.
I got a call yesterday (TUESDAY) and had to sign some release papers and then within a couple of hours they called back and I start orientation on Monday. The website says 3 days of orientation and very likely dispatched out on Thursday with your trainer.
    Wish me luck.

Good Luck heard they are one of the best to work for but that its so important that you are a clean person, I heard they are really picky about the cleanliness of their equipment. let us know how it went.

Very good company!! Can't say enough good about them. Very interested in taking care of their drivers. 10 to 14 days out gets 2 days off. 3 days of orientation and right into the truck with a trainer. 12 days out and I drove 6200 miles from SLC to Illinois back to S. Cal back to Ohio and finally back to Utah for a few days since my trainer already had the time scheduled off for being with family for Easter. If you are in their hiring area I wouldn't hesitate. I started out in a brand new 2011 Freightliner Cascadia 8 speed which wasn't hard to get use to at all since I learned on a 10 speed. All the equipment is no older than 2009 and they have replaced 70-80% of their fleet in the past year. Very good company is all I can say. Very good benefits package after 90 days. Also starting an O/O program if you're interested.

    Mecca8383 and Gears Thank this.
