You are once again confused,I have not said anything about your spelling.Since you brought it up,it does need a whole lot of improvement.
I understand what you mean the company that reprsents him needs to take action to stop theis practices there are a lot of companys that will tell you they do.nt have anything to do with the trucks they hire .take responcablity for there trucks
I'm looking to join Mason Dixon I need to kno if I run Regional how much should I be looking to make be for the overhead taking out weekly please some out help
Mason-Dixon takes out $5.00 per load for insurance. That's it!!! You can buy Bob Tail thru them but that's up to you where you get it You get 75% of what you run ..
I am an Owner Operator that is leased to Mason Dixon.. Its a fact that this post has absolutly nothing at all to do with Mason Dixon. You were employeed by an Owner Operator that has a couple of trucks or so.. I hope that you have learned your lesson about driving for an owner operator with any company, in todays finanicial bind. If i was going to be just a driver, i would work for some big or simi small company that has good late model equipment and benifits, you had none ( right ?? ) I can tell you that since june of 2012 the freights rates has dropped about 40 percent across the board, and the expenses has gone up.. so ask yourself , how much money did your boss have left over after the load was done... i know that it is his problem but also your problem aw well... picking up cheap freight and after paying the expenses, maby there is no money left to pay you !!!! So this deal is between you and your boss... Mason Dixon has no legal responsibility to you...
Whether you lease to a carrier or run your authority, rates and freight are down. I know some owner operators who make more leasing to a carrier than they did under their own authority. Some owners are better than others when it comes to paying drivers. When any driver complains about not being paid, I have to ask myself what he may be leaving out of his posts. It could be that the owner for whom he worked is a sleaze or got into financial difficulty. It could also be that the driver got advances, stole property, sold fuel or damaged his assigned equipment. There is no way to tell for sure. But, I always take any statements made by a former driver with a grain of salt. I would not be too quick to judge one way or another. We are only hearing one side of the story.
