We did`t see the whole situation here to make conclusions that he was/is an idiot. Maybe the cars on the right were 20 seconds before parked differently and it looked okay to pass through without problems.

But you americans have wide 2lane 2way hwy`s only, so you probably think that driving over 35mph on a 2 lane highway is always fast... we do it everyday in Europe, especially in the norht

There is this good saying that you can do it right a thousand times, but if you make a mistake once, it will never be forgotten.

We've got roads just like, and worse than, the one in the video and many of them have speed limits well above 35. Not every road in the USA is like the ones you see in a movie. From what I can see in the video, he ran up on a bunch of stopped and slow moving cars on both sides of the road as if they weren't there. He should have slowed way down, even if he had enough room to pass, and especially when at least one person was standing on the side of the road. It looks like he was busy playing with his phone or something and when he looked up, he got surprised.

    Maybe you are right.

I just wanted to say that accidents dont always happen because of stupidity, lack of skill etc. They sometimes just happen, period. Regardless if you follow all the safety procedures.

Sometimes people just need to point the finger at someone/something to blame. Just to feel better, that nothing cant be out of your control.
