100% safety rating

    Sinch you say "reaching", are you are talking CSA2010? There, I doubt any company can reach 100. DOT will step in and intervene after like 75. You get up higher towards 90 and don't show improvement, they get shut down.

    I know of one that had a 98 but now is a 90. They had a couple of drivers that recently were put OOS so it looks like they're heading back up. I was just curious what would happen with CSA2010 being in affect. There is a rumor that they are going to be shut down. It's a small company only 30 trucks.

    it ain't a rumor......eventually they will be shut down....don't matter the size......they don't want to listen and play by the rules...??

    CSA is all about changing behaviors and holding drivers and companies accountable for their actions. If these companies don't want to change and keep running non compliant they deserve to be shut down. In the long run this will be good for the industry.

    They have a 97.3 and a 93.8 or similar...owner said they are getting new authority to get out from under the current safety rating and they will do business as usual....:biggrin_25513:

    Unsafe Driving, Fatigued Driving (hours of service) & Crash Indicator
    65% for general carriers
    60% for Haz Mat Carrier
    50% for passenger carriers


    Driver Fitness, Controlled Substances/Alcohol, Vehicle Maintenance, Cargo-Related
    80% for general carriers
    75% for haz mat carriers
    65% for passenger carriers
