The cb channels are 27 megahertz, and the 10 meter ham band is 28.0 to 29.700 so yes, you can use cb antennas, but to get the swr down, you have to shorten them up a bit more. Thats how i do it, one whip for CB and another for 10 meter.

how do I listen in to a ham conversation on 10 meter? Is there a dedicated time that most people talk? I have flipped through all the channels both a.m. and FM trying to listen in so that I can understand what I am so interested in. Also, do I have to be in a certain area to listen in, or do the airwaves travel further on 10 m then CB?
I am planning this Sunday to go to a local ham convention. Below is the website. What do I need to know, so that I can pass this license test? Please see the website is this the correct task I should be taking?

You need to tune in 28.305-28.500 Upper Side Band. Go back and re-read POST #12 on page #2.
-
Also you need to go on even frequencies and most exports will not do that.
