I have a clean dac, clean driving record, no felonies, and 4+ years of class A driving with tractor trailer. I am now driving for Boeing. So Walsh could kiss my mud flaps. PS. by the way my genetic make up includes Irish and Spanish.

How'd you get on with Boeing? You probably make like $800 in a day driving one of those trucks around town.

My Dad has worked for Walsh for 18 years. We have gone to company picnics, and guess what! There are blacks and hispanics that work there, too! Bill Walsh Sr., and Bill Walsh Jr., show up at these every year, and cook for the employees. Guess what else! One guy, ONE, tested positive for drugs, and he got FIRED! And he was WHITE! What Walsh doesn't like are people with negative attitudes and people who like to bad-mouth other people. My husband worked for Walsh, too, but when they sold their curtain vans, he was laid off. So? He is a mixture of Sioux Indian and Scottish descent, so guess what! He isn't exactly a white guy, and he doesn't do drugs, either. Someone got a case of sour grapes.

I just interviewed for Boeing 'truck driver' position in St Louis, MO. Is it decent pay? I know it is a Teamster job but I can't find much info on compensation. Any info you can provide would be much appreciated.

Why didn't you ask about the pay during the interview?

    T-RIX Thanks this.

I read somewhere that it wasn't appropriate to ask about pay at the interview. I believe the next step (if they want to hire me) will be a fed ex package in the mail with a job offer and salary amount. Then I'll have a few days to respond.
