The repo lots are getting full, the banks are saying no more trucks and the brokers are saying their will be more coming to haul at my cheap rates.

I f she looks good she could turn it into a "lot lizaed" den at your nearest TS. That's the only way she'll make any money with it. :biggrin_25520:

EVERYONE I AM NOT AN IDIOT. I HAD A BUSINESS PARTNER WHEN I BROUGHT THE TRUCK MY PARTNER HAS OVER 15yrs experience doing logistics. But has recently bailed on me. I paid cash for the truck and I have it in the shop getting serviced. I have a driver and relief driver lined up with over 10 yrs exp and clean MVRs & both have OTR experience. I know a few guys with trucks that have been schooling me but I got on this site to get outside opinions. Oh yeah I've got Class A CDLs but have never driver a semi. Thanks

you will really have to set up an operating cost sheet to see what you can afford to pay the driver--ooida has a pretty good one on their site where you can put in all of your variables
    or you could pay %--

20-27% seems to be the range.

25-30% is normal to pay on percentage. Thing is you and the driver will need to agree on a # that you both feel is fair based on what you expect out of your driver. Best of Luck to you both.
