Wrong way driver, kills tanker driver Ft Worth

Unfortunately, more often than not, a POS like this gets a 'slap on the wrist'. Maybe a few months in jail/prison, mandatory alcohol rehab, probation w/testing, then he walks free to do it all over again. Back where 'home' is for me, you constantly see news stories about folks with their 8th, 9th, 10th charges of DWI and driving on revoked, but they are always allowed to 'plea bargain'.
I certainly hope justice is served in this case, but I seriously doubt that it will be.

And youre right, if somebody wants to drink and drive, they will.

 

Station snipers outside every bar. You stagger out and get behind the wheel? BAM! One to the head.

That would take care of it.

 

But then all the politicians, professional athletes, lawyers etc would be dead.

 

You said that like it would be a bad thing.
