Yes I would say that if a person cannot even stay awake in class it is probably not a good Idea for them to drive an 80,000 pound truck.

What did the other person do tear the gears up. I would think after a few days of instruction a person should start getting the hang of shifting.

need a little help on this one if anyone can help. I tested and passed this last thursday. I was told that I should have a trainer by yesterday, or today at the latest (march 31st), and now there telling me that i might have a trainer MAYBE this next monday. has anyone had to wait a while for a trainer, and if so how long? not trying to annoy my DM, but there gets to a point where it gets a little rediculous!!! any comments on this would be appreciated thanks -chris

There are more students than trainers and they are hiring trainers. My OTR training got broken up due to personal business and trainer scheduling. I had two days left of EVOII. I had a choice of waiting a few days or more for a non smoking trainer, or go with a smoker immediately. I chose the latter, which we ended up being out nine days.

I am solo now and making the big bucks ..:biggrin_25517:

That's not good, maybe I shouldn't have signed the contract for school this morning.

Its based on where u live. Some places are harder than others to get trainers there based on freight lanes

about an hour north of NYC, don't know how much freight Roehl moves through here, we are close to 87 and 84 but don't travel either too much
