Did you pay for your schooling, or did you go to Stevens? They will hit you for the entire cost of the school if you leave before the year is up.
Now we have 3 distances, this is one of the problems with Stevens, lack of communication, and constituency in the rules.
Maybe you can find a secure place closer to home...
I did, and got it approved.
Get used to staying on top of your DM, anytime you need to get home. Home is NOT a priority to the Dallas staff, moving freight is.
I am setting in the Dock door at Wally World, waiting to get this Pillsbury load unloaded.... New Caney TX, been over a year since I have been here... Now where will they send me? I beg and plead, but I just can not seem to get any pre plans... And parking in this area after 11pm should be fun... the J, was full at 4pm, and still full when I left at 7pm... I will head up to Cleveland or splendora. probably the wrong direction again, but I should find parking spots.

probably pick up a beverage load or something out of the NW side of houston. But ya never know. I think the distance thing is all based on what is convenient for them. For instance for me alot of freight goes through houston so to deadhead me that far when i could cycle through the region isnt "cost effective" for the company.
Maybe soon I will go alliance and it won't matter.

The problem with getting a secure lot closer to home is the freight. I was super close to home when I was stuck on I75, but they routed me to I71 for a repower that never happened. I basically added a ton of deadhead miles onto the trip due to their poor planning. But oh well. I'm glad I'm not paying for the fuel.PSWH Thanks this. -
One of my Alliance buddies told me grads are not allowed to go to Canada until they're off grad fleet.
Is that true?
From the way my DM talks, I'll be heading to Canada soon as she is able to route me that way.
Apparently, trainees aren't allowed to go to Canada either, but I know quite a few who did with their trainers. Seems that it's a good idea to do it with a trainer, so you can see exactly what you need to do.PSWH Thanks this. -
I went to Canada when I was grad. But that was three years ago. Also went with my finish trainer.
pagan22 Thanks this.
