Stay away from Carbs!

Staying away from carbs is not the answer, nor is it what the article says. Refined crap, starches, sugars, and the like are the enemy. Pasta, rice, potatoes, breads, etc are to be avoided. Stick to things like broccoli, cauliflower, peas, beans, and lentils for your carbs.

What about fried foods ?

Friend meats, now and again, aren't going to hurt you. On a consistent basis, well, then I'm not so sure. However, I'll admit, I haven't looked into it lately. And no, I'm not being sarcastic with that comment.
In the last year, I've done an about face on what I used to think was healthy, however, I never did check up on fried foods. Personally, I eat them now and again, as in fried chicken. However, I stay away from the simple and starchy carbs, fried or not fried.
