Cat Et

Lots use it. Just do a search for it. This I know, I need a good working copy. Bought a new NEXIQ but no CAT ET....

 

I use CAT ET. 2010 version. But 2009 if faster.

I use CAT SIS too.

There are old version of CAT ET available in internet for free download. and key generators too, just download it.

BTW, nexiq is RP1210 device, does not support CDL, so you can use it with hightway versions of CAT engines... you cant you nexiq with agricultural, marine and construction engines.

 

I use Cat ET 2008 B. I have all the versions and I like 2008 Best. I have as old as 2006 and 2007 and I have 2011.

 

I have to use 2010 version, becouse LIAZ builds buses with newer 3126 engines calibrated for Euro-3 and previouse versions are not good for newer ECMs.

2011 is too big and slow

 

i have the new cat et versions... 2010b, 2011a and 2011b ........does anyone have the password generators for that will work for 2008 and newer version.....

 

i have been searching like crazy and cant find any legit websites for the password generators....

Have another question... if you do a reflash thru winflash... once you program with another flash file,, do you have to have passwords... or do you only need passwords when you change the personality mode or interlock code or fls or fts and stuff like that.....

 

You only need passwords to program personality module but a truck without a programed personality module is basically useless as it will only idle

 

everething depend on what reason do you need password....

There is compex password sustem. Cat ECM is not so simple toy.

Sometimes new ECM is not programmed as Highway and does not support J1708/J1939, CLD only and to reprogram it you need genue Cat adapter

 

so if my ecm is already has a file on it but i want to experiment with differint flash file.... i was thinking like a multi torqu file
