    Dino, sorry man, I just got in. Very sorry to hear the news.... but to be honest not entirely unexpected.:cry: Life is never cool when your friends go down.

    The poem that I sent was a one-off that I wrote from my heart. Feel free to copy it off if you like (or anyone here).

    Dino, you said you'd like to feel like SP was riding with you. Be sure that he will.... for every mile you make. Succeed or not, it will make no difference. I think that's what he was trying to tell you.

    Tell you the truth, I envy the both of you. Never in my life have I had a friend that close. You two shared something that is pretty rare. God has already blessed you both.

    Be at peace my brother.

    Dino, I've been following this from the beginning and I must say that you paid Southern Pride the ultimate respect with the way you handled yourself though out his illness.

    You should be proud of this for the rest of your life.

    DAM, I'M GOING TO MISS HIS WONDERFULL STORY'S, AND WITHOUT THE SUGAR COATING ON THEM TO MAKE IT POLITICALLY CORRECT, and all this was cause by a hospital infection i believe

    pretty much caused by the drug avantia...sp was a diabetic, an instead of takeing the shots..he took the pill so he could still drive....now by trying to the right thing...the drug has paled havok with his body:biggrin_25524:

    well i'v headed out back on the road today, mrs sp texted me a little bit ago, i think reality is setting in for her that the end is near. Her texted consisted of " god , i wish i could get him to beyatch about something, joke about something, he ust lays there sleeping an when he wakes,theres no body in there responding......i feel so bad for her

    If he isn't being dialized, his body will soon shut down and he will rest. I thank God for the PM chats SP and I had early on in my "thinking about it" days. He NEVER let a PM go unanswered and, if he thought he was a little late in responding, he would apologize. God bless and keep you SP.

    Dang, the doctor should of not let that happen. Avantia decreases insulin resistance. It's suppose to be a last choice drug for type II diabetes. It's not a treatment for type I diabetes. Sometimes they have older people use it with insulin shots. But never alone. There's alot coming out on that drug and how it is causing strokes and heart attacks. This is so sad. :(
