not necessarily true. Some Werners and Swift owner ops have theirs set at 65, 70 and 75. However if GPS says you are going 60 then you are pretty much going 60.

I had a 1600 apt here in Kalamazoo MI, but the company doesnt work today, so it got moved to 2100 on Sunday. So I get to sit at this truck stop, and play on the computer for 30 hours, almost, but not a 34hr restart.

Have a CB question for central know-it-alls. I'm driving a Volvo ... has connections for power to hook up a CB but not the antenna. I have looked inside the dash and it looks like that bit of coax has been pulled out or removed. As a company driver how do i set this up? I have not bought anything yet, probably going with a cobra 25 or 29, some length of coax, and a reasonable antenna.

Most truck stops have antenna kits that come with the antennas and the coaxial hookups for them. Just have to find a place to route the cable where it will not get pinched by the door when you open and close it. When I had my volvo there, I took the back of the mirror off and ran my own coax from the antenna mount down through the mirror and through a notch in the bottom of the mirror, then zip tied the coax to the bottom mount of the mirror.

I would have finished my restart and be late for the 01. They really only count late on 99 as service failure.

I think Lease ops might have gotten the shaft on the tiered pay bonuses. Instead of the $100 for 0-200mi and $55 for 201-500 miles its now 0.12 on top of base pay for 0-200ish, 0.06 for 201-500 and 0.03 for 501-800. We did get out 0.03 raise and ontime bonus of $10 for the 99. Trainers got their pay cut by 0.02 if i remember. Ill have to see next wedensday's pay to verify.. stay tuned.

Oh yeah... Does anyone know how long the fumes of that Howe's additive lasts... The bottle in my side box got punctured and now im smelling fumes... :(
