Maybe it is just me. I have slight hearing problems from years of operating airtools, firearms and my teen years of abusing my ears with super loud stereos. These days, anything that distracts what I am trying to hear makes it hard to understand. Even the slightest Hall sound makes it hard for me to understand what people are trying to say. Put me in a sound dead room and I can hear my a pin drop from 100 ft away.

As far as people with too much echo and reverb, I can't hardly undertsand a word they are saying so I don't respond. If they call for a "Check" then I say "it's working but sounds bad" and leave it at that.
