    bad habits? breaking the double clutch one is the worst
    But again,never learn it,never have to break it.

    We had a guy in our class that had never driven a stick shift before, and when he got in the truck he backed up, locked up the brakes without stepping on the clutch and broke the drive shaft. The week before the u-joint had just been replaced on the truck. Avoid that, and you will do fine. :biggrin_25525:

    Since when? I've driven Scania, MAN, Volvo (FH cabover), and Foden. None of them had synchronized transmissions.

    We dont need synchronized transmissions...more stuff to wear out. Shift it like its supposed to be shifted and its a good skill to have
