Reefers are good to get into. If the economy goes asunder again, and flatbed, dry van, etc. freight goes into decline, people are still going to need to eat. It can also get you loads out of places which can be... not so easy... to find loads out of for other trailer types (like Colorado). You can haul dry as well as refrigerated freight... good way to go.
On that note, if you're going the reefer route, have you considered Stevens Transport?

I've heard a lot of bad about all 3. You may wait a month or more for a truck at swift (just what I heard and that doesnt make it true).
I would definitely go with central. They seem to have nicer equipment and as witchinghour said people gotta eat.

If you go with Central, make sure your DAC report is extra clean. Central dosen't mess around when it comes to background. Im going with the big orange pumpkins, starting next week.

    Good luck... And be safe.
