i used to work with them...i can make an educated guess that they will want you to drive with a trainer for 50,000 miles in which all the truck miles count trainer and you...also they are very rigid on this ...you most likely will NOT get that distance cut at all

Prime advises against buying out the trucks. After all why would anybody want to pay $35,000 to $40,000 for a ragged out freightliner? LOL
-
But they CLEAN UP so nice when they are on the FREIGHTLINER dealers lots.

And they are "fleet maintained".

-
Well I have seen Dressed Up OWNER OPERATOR trucks that were so poorly maintained it was a sin.
From what I have seen PRIME has very few JUNKY looking trucks or trailers on the road , they deal them off in the 480 - 620,000 mile range which is a good operating practise. -
My poke was really at fleets in general. It was not intended to be specifically aimed at Prime.
-
I know , and my reply was generalized and not directed at your poke.
sydsdriver Thanks this. -
That's why they don't call a used Freightliner, a "new truck!"
-
IP Per diem is NOT option it is mandatory for company drivers. It is equal to 7 CPM. -
Really? When did they change that?
