I'm considering going with them. Talked with a GTI driver teamed with his wife a couple of days ago. They just left IDC after 6 years. They loved it there. The only reason they left was because of the deal with one of the family members and the embezzlement thing. I'm gonna wait a couple of months and see how that goes. Any more IDC drivers input would be greatly appreciated.
IDC,or interstate dist.co. be leary of this company

just an update on IDC i didnt get anymore miles they kept parking me for days at a time and i just got sick and tired of there crap so i quit. best thing i ever did now i work for IRT indian river transport and im very happy over here i got a brand new truck. i get all the miles i want. and im home almost every weekend. I dont know whats going on with IDC but they need to change a few things and need to get new trucks if they want there drivers to stay.
Giggles the Original Thanks this. -
wow...i'm confused i've read good and bad about them. i recently did a online app for them and they called me back 20mins after i hit submit. i faxed them a release to start the background check stuff. i been out here for over 11yrs i've never met a unhappy idc driver but after reading this...maybe i should stay in the hell hole i'm in here at superservice llc out of grand rapids, mi instead of moving over idc. so far the only red flag that has me concerned is the recruiter wouldn't tale me how long i had to stay out for. can someone tell me or give me a idea? i live in flint, mi

I was with them for almost 4 yrs my ex is still with them after almost 6. I wouldnt go back. they are a team oriented company. Needless to say my ex doesnt do that great. His apu quit, cant get it fixed. His heater hasnt worked for months, they cant seem to get it fixed. He is in a truck that has almost 800,000 miles on it. They have gone down hill since I started with them. I wouldnt work for them again. They used to be a premier company for teams way back then. From what I heard they are hangin by the skin of their teeth.

Badman, by the way , they used to make us stay out for a month as a team. They were a good company. They lost alot of the old timers when they started messin with stuff. Teams used to get the big volvo.s, no more. Trucks went from 70 to 65back to 68 to 63. Alot has changed there. I guess its just a sign of the times.

I'm new to this forum and as a matter of fact, have never used forums before so forgive me if I'm not using it correctly.
I'm curious if anybody knows anything about IDC's Contract Carrier Program. I've been looking at www.idccontractor.com and don't see anything wrong with it so far. -
Is there confirmation that Interstate was bought out?
-
well the investors take over in May...lets see what happens...we havent left yet....got a nicer truck and miles have picked back up...think maybe they just hit a rough spot...HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH OUR PAY!!!! thats one of the reasons we decided to stick it out...
