Bottom line to be a REAL 10 meter radio it has to .....

    1) Have SSB/FM/AM and cover 28.000 - 29.700
    2) IF it is SSB then it needs to cover the band in 1Khz steps since there are no channels a " CHANNEL " selector is useless .
    3) If it has FM it needs offset and tone built in.or it is useless for repeaters.

MOST export radios are at best very low end 10 meter radios some like ranger 2950 and MAG-257 are barebone SSB sets with very limited FM built in.

    MayhemAutoTransport Thanks this.

This is what I was trying to say when I said his radio won't work. But some in here seemed to think that it would.
