Well, to this person spewing the hate and discontent, my history is primarily British by ancestry, but I do have a mix of Indian blood from both my parents side. I suppose because of that, there is something you hate about me.

The words you used in your comments remind me of why many Black Folks use to say to their White Employers, Yeah Boss, Ok Boss, etc, is that they felt abused and wanted to get back because us White Folk arn't too bright. Problem is most of us White Folk got Educated and now we know what Boss stands for.

You will have a problem no matter where you go to work these days because we live in a world that is a Rainbow of people who for the most part get along just fine.

Minority? Look in the Mirror. See him. I hope you refrain from using such words on this forum in the future. They just do not say much for civilized people.

Perhaps I am reading this wrong as I am extremely tired. Hope you did not mean the connotations referring to people of color. If so, you have a real problem and you need to do something about it.

Lucky, Weggie was not the author of that hateful post. It was someone who's ID was White Tribe who since has been banned by the mods. Weggie was just wondering why this guy's post wasn't removed but as soon as it was brought to Cybergal's attention and to Burky's and Wiseone's this idiot was banned and his posts removed.

 

People like that baffle me. What the heck does race have to do with SWIFT ??? Anyhow, I have driven for PRIME and compared to SWIFT, Prime is the biggest scam company out there.

The Trucking industry as a whole is hard. Mostly for the drivers. What needs to change is drivers attuides. We all know we lead a hard life. We do not get to go home at 5 p.m. and weekends off. We deal with 4 wheelers that think semis are vehicles that can stop on a dime or we have to be "mindfull" of them. The lovely "Just in Time Delverly" system and Walmart's warehouses. etc. etc.

What needs to change (besides companies) is dirver training. All companies just want someone to drive the truck. They have no other training to offer and expect the rookie to learn/know it all. I did not attend Swift's driver training but attended Fox Valley Tech's Truck drivers course whearas you had to have 1K miles to graduate, complete the Skid pad, day/night driving etc. etc. and the whole program is ran by drivers with over 1 million miles logged....safe. And if the rookie fails to know everything...DOT has presents for them !

I have seen good and bad in allot of OTR companies. SWIFT catches hell due to thier size and driver training. I have seen "Good Companies" drive worse than the most wet eared rookie Swift can offer. All I am saying is if you want to drive for SWift ask for the Menasha, Wisconsin terminal. Two days after I got my own truck I was in (GASP !) Gary Ind. terminal for more dirver's training and simulator training.

 

Almost forgot about the "Super Truckers" doing 80 on the hiways with a full load and ridding the bumper of the truck in front of them......Those driver's are the ones who give truck drivers the bad names...

No matter who we pull for we are all Truck Driver's and should help each other out. If you see a Swift driver or any other driver out there needing help..help them. We all started out the same. Taking forever to back hell I still on some days cannot hit the hole but it happens.

Help each other. All companies suck in some way or another.

 

One more thing...to see my point watch "Ice Truckers" on the History channel. One driver is one the ice roads with the jake brake on and the cruise control then (This is the good part) lets go of the steering wheel to get another coffee cup from the sleeper ! OMG !

Then another driver Drew talks crap and ends up in a ditch. That is my point.
