I dont know, but its this white girl in a honda accord that will come and flash her tits at you to ask if you want to have a good time.
Rollover the Original and Morella Thank this. -
1. When its a constant problem and you only get to see your kids for a pre determined structured time, (and the company knows about it and assures you that you will be home) yeah that's a big problem. Yes to a degree that's trucking but I'm sick of these company's getting by with that excuse when all it takes is proper load planning. I've worked for companies that consistantly got me home on the day or before the day I requested. I've also driven for companies that could give a #### and the planners threw out the loads that need covered instead of doing their job and reading the notes on the drivers screen.
2. Again. That's trucking. But isn't that a poor excuse. Seems a bit lazy to me.
3. This would piss me off. There is nothing that I hate more than incompetence.
4. This should have been expected and on this one I have to agree that the company was in their right to do this. -
I have to agree on the home time issue. 4.5 years working for them, and I got home on time just once, and that was because my license was about to expire. Average late getting home was six days (OTR) and three days (regional). They generally give you only just enough time off on regional for a restart, and it's at their convenience, not yours. They could care less about medical needs, family commitments, etc.
As for the unauthorized insurance deductions, get with your state labor board. Marten is SELF INSURED, meaning they are the insurance carrier, BCBS (or whomever they are using today) only processes the claims. You may also want to get your state's insurance commission involved. -
That's a good one..
