I don’t even know where to begin about this lame company. Their website has the nerve to say that “welcome home, here you’re like family” which isnot how they treat you. They take advantage of you like a scorned ex wife with no prenup, which is the only way that I can say they treat you like family. They take all your money, don’t let you see your kids, and if that is not bad
enough they give you paychecks stating that you still owe them money. This is
by far one of the worst companies in to world!

First of all they sell you a truck for twice as much as it is worth, and don’t forget
that balloon payment at the end too!

Then they send you out and for a100 or 200 mile load and make you sit for 2 days. So in a total of 3 daeys youare lucky to have about 500 miles. Andeven when you run your butt off and manage to have about 3k miles a week, youdon’t get paid, they take out all this nonsense money, that you never use, see,or can claim.

When they know you are tired of sitting, they give you brokered loads which are not only heavy, they have no fuel surcharge, which is obviously how they negotiate it with the broker. So they are making more money on the miles and you still only get your .85 cents and no surcharge.

They say that they will provide maintenance on the outrageously expensive truck you lease from them, but they don’t. Youstill end up buy all the things yourself, so you basically pay them 10 cents amile for them to tell you that your tuck is running fine, or to reset the
    indicators that something is wrong.

They ask you to lie on your logs, to deliver their loads, but if you lie to try it to get home, they don’t allow it. When you finally make it home, they are in a rush to send you out on some important load and tell you that you will be right back, and they keep you out for anther 3 weeks. With no paychecks, and no way of having access to the money you should be getting. They don't even bother sending a settlement sheet, and the end of pay periods, you have to go in and see that you have no check.

This company is only out to line their own pockets, you are keeping them on the road by not getting paid like you should. You basically end up working for free.

Sorry but it sounds like a normal trucking company. They are out to make money. I am not trying to be a jerk but it all sounds familiar for most trucking companies out there.

All your other problems stemmed from your failure to say "no" to the deal to begin with.

I don't condone micro-loads and mega-sittings between them, but you had the power to avoid it all, and you didn't use it.

    Warning Regarding Hendrickson Trucking!‎
    Hendrickson's latest SCAM Spring 2011
They have purchased 18-20 brand new 2012 Kenworth trucks, some sleeper birth (single bunk), and some day-cabs.
The recruiting department will tell you that they have a great program with these new trucks as they are going to be nothing but drop and hook, because these trucks can NOT travel outside the state of California. They will tell you that most teams are getting 5300-5700 miles per week. They need to run these trucks 24/7 and slip seat the truck when a team goes on 34 hour reset.
    Yes I said TEAM!
I tried that, but when your bouncing down the wonderful union made California HWY's there is NO WAY a person can sleep in the back! Moreover what do you do when your out on I-15 at exit 286 waiting 5-7 hours for another truck coming in from Nevada, with just one sleeper bed? Why Mr. Hendrickson are you forcing people to work under such adverse conditions!!!
Maybe this is Hendrickson's way of being politically correct and this is there way to recruit people into an alternate life style?

The recruiting department said they have so much freight, teams will average 5300-5700 miles per week! WHAT A JOKE!!!
I just got off the phone with another driver who was told by dispatch that he guarantees him 6000 miles next week running as a team.
    THAT IS SUCH A LIE!!!!
Our best week (7 days straight) was 3580 miles!!!! In one week running as a team # 0.21 cents per mile = $751.80
That's only $107 dollars per day and remember these trucks are on the clock 24 /7!!
    That's $4.75 cents per hour!!!

Time Out! Let's take a step back and enumerate through your pertinent points and elaborate on each in more detail:

"First of all they sell you a truck for twice as much as it is worth"

Can you provide a specific example? How about a copy of the contract with the purchase price coupled with a notarized copy of an appraisal value of the truck from an independent appraiser. That will allow us to objectively determine if your statement is valid or just hot air.

"Then they send you out and for a100 or 200 mile load and make you sit for 2 days. So in a total of 3 daeys youare lucky to have about 500 miles. "

How about posting your logs over a period of several months with your paystubs for this period highlighting the three day periods where you were limited to 500 miles. Your statement creates a great deal of sensationalism, but you are lacking documentation to substantiate your claims.

"Youstill end up buy all the things yourself,"

Can you post a receipt for something that you paid for out of pocket and highlight the portion of your contract that states it was covered?

"and they keep you out for anther 3 weeks. With no paychecks,"

Can you provide copies of your logs for those three weeks and paystubs so we can compare and contrast your paychecks to logs?

I am not implying that your statements are without merit, but there is nothing to substantiate your claims. How about posting copies of some of the requested information!!!
