My view is that this forum is no different than talking in the driver's room. Maybe if more management, dispatchers and recruiters would follow the example of King Henry things might improve in the trucking industry. As long as people are involved nothing will ever be perfect. As long as people trust technology more than their own brains, things will really get screwed up.

I really believe that the most important quality anyone can have is humility, followed by a desire to make things better for others.

Roehl Execs murder puppies when drivers are late!

 

You wouldn't believe how much money is spent on keeping a full stock of puppies around. It's crazy, and as a former FM there were only so many puppies I could see murdered before I had to let a driver go. I just couldn't take it any more, so sad to see.

 

12 Days on the road, 4191 miles and i'm on the way to canada to add another 1417 by monday. I really have only one complaint, my A/C does not blow cold air.
But my APU is wonderful, I stay warm or cool at night and thats very important to me.

 

When you mentioned this to dispatch did they ask if you ran your A/C every month over the winter? I'm just curious?

 

It's been 2 years since I have heard from USXPress about their lease program. I got approved but never talked to the recruiter about setting up orientation..lol..that ship sailed along time ago...Do they only have one recruiter? If not, talk to another. You file is on the computer, any of them can bring it up

 

heck, most company recruiters and such watch these boards.

 

Right.. I was thinking.. why isn't a recruiter PMing that guy and stealing him from the recruiter who is asleep at the wheel?

Isn't like there's any more honor in recruiting than there is in selling cars.. and a car salesman would skate another salesman in a heartbeat.
