I've had Kenworths with dual air ride suspension and the type of valves on them are terrible. You mention that one valve leaks, move the arm on the valve sideways and see if it makes any difference, if it stops leaking or not. The valves have been known to be defective even on brand new trucks.

if the valve is leaking air when the suspension is dumped, go have it checked.

its only supposed to leak when its got too much.. LOL

aside from that, get used to the bags sapping your storage air, i havent yet found a way around it.

Well no wonder it's out of air from all that exhaling it has to do everytime the fork lifts backs away.

Try idling and I'll bet you the suspension stays up.

If you don't want to idle, then drain the the suspension before you start loading.

I have dual leveling valves on my KW they suck, every time i stop it bleeds or airs up for 30 40 seconds or longer depending on if trailer and truck are both level, so i can understand part of you problem. But like jfaulk99 said it shouldn't even try to air back up until 80 or 90 lbs.(mine is 90 for some reason) it should only take a few seconds, i never timed it but maybe 10 15 seconds and i usually have 40,000 or more on my drives. I would start by checking that valve and make sure they are adjusted right. call KW with vin and they will tell you where to measure from, Won't stop it from leaking down but it should't take that long to air up.

I had a 2001 Volvo and it did the same thing, changed the air bag (small hole. leaking air) and problem solved. 1 hour to do the job and was back on the road.

not if the forklift is going in and out of the trailer all the time. they will be adjusting constantly thus using more air.
