I read elsewhere if you eat a banana and drink a glass of skim milk with it the day of the physical it will lower blood pressure.

OK, I know I will hear something from the right fighters for this, but here goes.
It appears somes drivers avoid taking BP medication because they fear not being able to get a two year certification. If I was this type of person (I'm not...not driving anymore but still maintain CDL) I would just go to my doctor for my yearly physical and get my BP meds. Then sometime later go get my DOT physical at some urgent care and forget to mention that I am taking the BP meds (yes, assuming that you hopefully exhibit a normal BP when they check). Sure beats the crap out of eating your shrubbery or drinking leftover fermentation juices. -
I've not heard of mustard or pickle juice/brine for blood pressure.
I've heard shot of mustard to temp' relieve leg or foot cramps (tennis player told me that one, but it doesn't work for me. Compression socks & arch support inserts for shoes helps some tho.)
I've heard pickle juice/brine to hide or mask drug use. But told have to drink it for couple days before test, and gallons of water also. Vinegar to flush cells, water to wash out of you. Doubt it works tho.
I agree with hit the health food / vitamins store if minor blood pressure issue. Cut out salt and do couple extra walks around truck for exercise. If a blood pressure issue a dr has suggested meds, I'd talk w/ dr about vitamins & supplements, try that route with dr help, major issues can lead to heart and stroke problems. I wouldn't risk self med a major issue without professional guidance.
I personally walk around twice any time I check tires, get few extra laps in without it feeling like I'm exercising in the day. But I also walk to work every morning, is like 7 blocks. (I lucky & have day/local job) I also get in & out of cab couple extra times on purpose at each location, use it like stair stepper, cat walk or back of trailer works good too. (folks think I checking hoses, gauges, forgot their ticket in cab; I don't catch any grief for wanting to stay a little bit in shape. After all, round is a shape!)
I know isn't 'real' exercise, but the couple extra trips I tell myself is exercise, lol.
My hearing test on DOT was kind of a loud whisper, don't know how far behind me she was. I stood center of the room, she went to right corner behind me, said 'blue', I repeated it. then she went to left corner said 'peaches', I said 'for real? Peaches? Blue peaches? Ewwww'. She laughed, said they use any random word, long as you can hear a 'forced' or 'loud' whisper, you pass. -

It is true that vinegar keeps your BP down. I am a lifter, and that raises your BP when you lift heavy weights like I do.
I drink a tablespoon of vinegar every morning when I wake up and it keeps my BP regular.
In my opinion its better then killing your liver with drugs.
My 2 cents. -
Sometimes due to genetics meds are the only way to keep BP down. My blood pressure is well under control with meds and besides, between our families and the families out on the road driving around us why not be safe and healthy?
