I can not thank all of you, for all the kind words and messages sent to me and our family, on our loss, of Southern Pride.
I lost not only my husband today, but my best friend. All he talked about was the other drivers on the forum, the messages you all posted for him to hurry and get well.
He so enjoyed talking with all of you, it gave him hope that he would one day, climb back in the cab and be on the road again. Now he is on heavens highway, a very special angel, who will forever be rememberd.
THANK YOU ALL AGAIN, from the bottom of my heart, and a special THANKS to Dino for taking the time, to make a older man, feel young again.
Don't be sad, he rides with you all, Mrs. SPmajestyk, Lilbit, Freebird135 and 60 others Thank this. -
Mrs. Southern Pride, My God be with you in this time of sorrow.
I never met your husband, but read alot of his posts.
Some I agreed with some not. But he said it how he felt.
Like Injun stated he stuck to his guns.
My you find peace in your heart when the time comes.
I and my wife wish you the best in this time of your loss of a husband and friend.dino6960, bullhaulerswife, AfterShock and 1 other person Thank this. -

Welcome Mrs SP. I'm so sorry you're best friend and love has left you. I would like to extend my condolences to you and your family.
I would also like to ask that you join us here and continue to be a part of our little family.
SP was great for sharing his knowledge and spirit with everybody. Even though I never got the chance to know him well, he was an inspiration.
I know you're going through a very difficult time and I pray with time the loss and loneliness eases. I hope you'll let us help you through that time by being here for you. ~Hugs Mrs SP~

Mrs. SP,
I've sent up instructions to my Mother who left this existence last year, and who was as fine a nurse and person who ever walked this earth, to seek out southernpride and guide him through the settling in process. Also, to my Dad, who got up there back in 02, and who was an extraordinary mechanic, along with being a straightforward and giving man, and with whom SP can "talk shop".
With their help, and that of many fine others, SP will quickly learn the ropes, size up the challenges he can find, then, once he's digested them thoroughly to make them his own, will mentor others just as he has at TTR and elsewhere while here on earth. Because that's who SP is, and I bet it took a lot of your doing to hone him into shape. For that I thank you...
Please feel welcome to visit us again here at the forum whenever you wish. Our hearts are out to you... -
Mam- I never had the honor of meeting your husband in person. But a man's words speak volumes and his said to me good man, real mans man, professional, and good ol' boy . Thoughts and prayers are with you and yours. May God bless.
