It's correct as Jfaulk says that the wide base tires are only available in 22.5" wheel sizes, but because of your earlier posts about possibly switching to them on your drives, I thought I'd add a bit more about their sizing...
It occurred to me that you may be running 24.5" currently and that your latest question might concern changing ride height/final gearing, if the WB tires only come in 22.5".
I just visited the Michelin site..., not that I'm recommending them over any other brand, just that they are known to more people, and picked a couple on-highway long haul tires at random to gain a size comparison.
XDA3:
11R24.5 - 43.8" Diameter, 20.5" Loaded Radius
275/80R24.5 - 41.9"D, 19.5" loaded R
X One XDN2:
445/50R22.5 - 40.4"D, 18.7" loaded R
455/55R22.5 - 42.4"D, 19.6" loaded R
I highlighted the two tire sizes and specs to show how close the loaded radius of the 455 wide base tire is to the LP 22.5" "standard" XDA3. If you currently run 24.5" LP rubber, you COULD retain the same gearing even when running WB 22.5" tires...
You may not have had these concerns in mind whatsoever, in which case, nevermind... -
455/55R22.5 is same height as LP 24.5 or 11R22.5
Strider Thanks this. -
yea when i bought the truck it had 11R22.5 on it but a buddy wanted my 22.5 rims when i was
in the process of buying new tires, my trailers have 24.5 so i did the swap with him.....
was just wondering if i was going to be able to keep the lo pro tire or not....i swopped the steers
to 24.5 before i did the drives and nobody noticed the 11R22.5 on the back and lo pro 24.5 on the front
unless i told themStrider Thanks this. -

I read the whole thread and only see 1 person saying he gained .5mpg switching from duals to singles. Does anyone else have hard numbers on before and after gain or loss?
My tire guy has a set of 4 xdn2'z on alcoa rims for $540 a piece with Half tread left(I assume 12/32). Sounded like a good deal but i see the rolling resistance is the same as the General D660'z duals I run now of 139. Even though it's the same as the dual, does it mean it's still better since there is only 2 side walls instead of 4???
I would only be switching for mileage gain as wieght loss is not a factor for me. Any input??? -
