Maybe its because I haven't faxed in my physical or permit yet because Alice did say last time I talked to her a few days ago that I should be receiving an email but I haven't.

As far as the cost of my permit, yes I answered my own question. I couldn't find it online for some reason earlier but I got it now, $30. I also tried for about 30 minutes to find a #### phone number for the DMV but found out they don't have one. Not sure if its just my local DMV or even the state of Wisconsin but they don't have one!

Anyways just to update if anybody cares, I went and got my physical done and only had time to take the general knowledge part of the permit test this morning since it was 50 questions long. It took me a little longer than I had planned but either way I got a 42/50 and passed it so tomorrow morning when I have all day Ill finish the Air-Brakes and Combination parts and should hopefully have my forms and permit faxed in tomorrow!

Well it looks like you're getting everything taken care of. You should do fine on the combination and air brake tests if you read the manual.

Was the physical pretty easy? What kind of things did they make you do?

Yeah I am getting things done, Thankfully. On a bit of a time crunch but should have no problem being ready for class on the 25th! I feel pretty confident in my ability to pass the Air Brakes and Combination written test in the morning.

As far as the physical goes, it is how it sounds. Just like any physical they make sure your eye sight is fine by reading off the letters along with bending in all directions and having the doctor put pressure on parts of your body to make sure there isn't any pain along with all the normal things, blood pressure, hate rate, etc... oh and of course the big Hernia Exam!!

    bdanning264,
I'll also be at the 4/25 Richfield class. Really looking forward to getting stated! Waiting for information packet to arrive. I take my physical this coming Wednesday, and already have my CDL. (Over 10 years since I last drove though.)

Awesome, Glad to hear from somebody else who will be attending the class on the 25th. I still don't understand why I haven't received any packet, Alice only mentioned receiving an email but even that never happened.

First check your "spam" mail to ensure it didnt go there. The if not - call her back and let her know. She'll resend it.

    Good Luck!

Yeah I've checked the spam mail also and have nothing. I'll give her a call tomorrow morning when I fax in my Permit and Physical.

So I am all ready to go now, I have passed my Written Permit test along with my DOT Physical, got them faxed in and like I said earlier I received my email with all the information. So I have a few final questions that had popped into my head:

Classes start at 7:30, what time do they end?

I am sure it depends where you live, and how long you want to be out for, but on average for the typical driver how many days are you out before you get sent home?

As far as bringing a cell phone for getting directions if needed or anything like that, does Millis have any sort of plan or reimbursement for the amount of minutes you use for work related calls?

What do the trucks come with? Do they all have refrigerators and microwaves or do you need to purchase those when you get your own truck?

Again, after you are finished with the trainer and successfully pass your CDL test and receive you own truck are you allowed to bring a passenger?

Do all trucks or some of the trucks have bunk beds?

And my final question, since the trucks go up to 66 MPH do you get any fuel bonuses?

Thank you to everybody who has given me any information along the way or answered any previous questions I have asked. I am very excited and looking forward to starting this journey.
