Hey guys i recently did the 2 month training with Werner. Come to find out they wouldnt offer me benefits since i didnt turn in my sheet within 30 days. Nobody ever said anything to me that it had to be turned in asap.
So i told werner im on leave, and probably not coming back. Benefits are a HUGE deal to me especially health insurance so i need the benefits!
Anyways i applied at TMC and since im only 21 and had speeding ticket i was denied. I was wondering if there is any newbie flatbed companies out there? Flatbedding was what i really wanted to do but couldnt find a company that would take a student as young as me. I applied at Melton and was denied as well.
Please someone help, bills are coming but the money has stopped. I will consider van as well. I would just like a good company to start with.
Im in Central, Tx btw.

Maverick flatbed hires newbies. I think Roehl has a flatbed division that hires newbies as well.

Most major companies have them.. Roehl, Schneider, J.B. Hunt, Swift... all to varying extent. Might want to try McElroy or CT, although I'm not sure what their experience requirements are.
Truckjobseekers.com might be of some help to you.
Oh... regarding the above posts, don't hold your breath for a lowboy job without getting sufficient experience driving a truck, first. There's a whole new set of concerns which present themselves when you get to pulling RGN trailers. -
Thanks guys but i went back to my old trade welding, got a sweet gig now and im home every night!
