I dont drive for them but I do watch this thread. I can say I want to try E-logs and see what its like. I think I would like them because from what I have heard other drivers say is you end up with more time at the end of the week then with paper since E-logs go minute by minute but 15 minute periods.

Some of the trucks are elog, but most are still not

Only a few of the trucks have elogs. I think it would cut down on your miles to use them if my first three weeks here are any indication.

If you are a high mileage producer on paper logs, you will find that e-logs will hinder your ability to run. Running a full 11 is about impossible to do with e-logs. As is stands my trips are now planned with 10.5-10.75 driving days.
Depends on the allowed parameters your company allows.
Even the folks that can't maximize on paper logs, may even find e-logs a challenge.
People that have to stop every hundred miles will struggle with e-logs.
If you spend alot of time waiting to load or unload, e-logs will sink you. -
How ya liking the 660?

P O S 4.3 mpg
DPF Filter sucks -
Ouch! Thats pretty bad LMB

Ok, bout to get myself confused here. DEF and DPF are 2 different things, right? My 660 has the DPF and has been running well for me. 4.3 does really suck....... bad. I avg 6.5 with it varying from 5.5 up to 7.8 depending on load, terrain, and wind. Had 44.3 in the box yesterday and with that hellacious tailwind, was getting 7.3. Wish I could get that all the time.

E-logs are not really that bad. When you have to fudge on your logs you are really screwing yourself in the long run. And I say this because you are running for free even more. And on E-logs is a good way to collect detention time more easy for you have proof you was at the shipper or receiver. That is if JCT pays detention. And if for some reason you are in a bad accident that will also help keep some scumbag lawyer from sueing you.
