Gilley congrats on the start! It will fly by. I'm sure I'll run across your path one of these days. I'm in truck 7077, introduce yourself should you see me.
As for Whitey, for some reason when I see that name I think of the albino kid in the movie Me, Myself & Irene, lol. -
Hey yall, just thought I'd give a update on hows school goin. We just finished up Day 9 of Week 2. Today we drove up to the rolling hills of Northern Georgia and then ran a little bit of Eastern Alabama. I felt pretty comfortable in the truck today, but still am a lil nervous about some of wide turns and waching the trailer and it didnt help that two idiots passed me on the left side as i was turning on the ramp to get back on 75, but Im sure it will get better with time. As far as school goes, were done with all the backing, and pretty much driving on the road the rest of the time. Greg said he doesnt thing were taking a road trip to Ohio or Black River Falls so I guess were just run around here. As far tommorows road trip were heading over to Bass Pro bright and early just in time for morning traffic, oh what fun thats goin to be, lol. Sorry this is so long but I thought I tried to include as much info as I could for people looking at Millis and to show them what a good school it is. All yall be safe out there

Oh yea - remember those runs well. Bass Pro Shops and just about all the little breakfast places that Greg knows. -
Hey guys, today our class graduated. The only thing we got left is the 3 days of orientation. This past week was spent driving around the Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia. Thursday night we had some major storms come thru the area, and me and my roomate sit out in front of the hotel and watched two tornado's thursday night, and one of those barely missed our terminal. As of today there still without power. My trainer called me about a hour ago so I think im good to go on that. Should be leaving out of Eden hopefully sometime late next week. Hope all is well with yall

congrats on finishing your class, i just finished week 1 here in richfield, we spent all day straight backing the trailers. our trainer ed says were going to spend an entire week in the truck and sleep in the chairs and that we need to bring enough clothes for the week, is that what your class did or is he pulling our leg? he seems to enjoy messing with our minds, we never know what to expect with him, haha.

bdanning, our class did not take a roadtrip, but as I understand it most classes do. Its usually the 3rd week of training. I dont really know bout the whole sleeping thing, but yall will prolly end up in a motel I would guess, lol. But dont quote me on that. Good luck with your training

Well guys, today is the last full day I'll spend down here in Cartersville. This week we have did our orientation, and tommorow were finishing that up and can leave as soon as our drug screens get back. Im heading back to home (NC) and spend abour 2 days there, then prolly sometime this weekend my trainer is picking me up at the Eden Terminal. I must say the MTI school is great, and Greg is a great instructor with a wealth of knowledge and skill in the trucking industry. He also has incredible patience while your learning the new skills of manueving and operating a tractor trailer. Im sure I will learn TONS of new info when im out with my trainer. Bear, Baritone, Whitey, and whoever else would like to, let me know your truck numbers so I can be looking for yall while im out and about OTR. Yall be safe
Hitman Thanks this.
