The problem is if she ends up having to work on it or it constantly breaks down shes not going to have it NOW. I know what you're saying, I have family like this also.

My luck is so crappy with buying vehicles it ain't funny. Even my new trailer had issues.... Guess thats why I haven't bought another truck in over 13 years.

 

LOL She ran a list off to me on the phone about what it needs. She said the tires are so out of allignment that when driving straight the wheel looks to be turned about halfway. Why she went to the lot she did I am unsure. I took into consideration her price range and found a MUCH better vehicle for cheaper than what she got. (At least judging from the pictures I've found) The one I found has NO body damage, she said hers does on the fender. Also the one I located is being sold by a DECENT buy here pay here who also offer a variety of services in a real building with a show room, hers is from a place that appears to have a doublewide on a gravel lot. Now I know the "store" doesn't make a difference in quality... But I had taken my car to the place I found this other van for her for an oil change a few months ago. I had NEEDED to get my driver side mirror replaced and the assembly in the door for rolling the window down too (got side swiped a few years back, only broke the mirror and my window wouldn't roll down after??) LOL Well the owner noticed the mirror and the window issue, and offered to fix it. I think for the mirror (plastic casing included) and new window assembly and oil change it was about 450.00 out the door. LOL they were very nice, and not in the typical creepy car sales man kind of way. So they officially won my business on the garage work. Am considering getting new head light assemblies soon (the inside plastic on the current ones are a little corroded and it can't be buffed out), and I know where I am going to have it done. Epic win for them I tried to show her a better option but she was in such a hurry to just have a car she took the first thing she found. Tsk at her. She will probably know better soon.

I have to admit when I first heard that Jesus got struck by lightning and burned to the ground I couldn't stop laughing!
