For the newbies out their running hard right now, take advantage of it because after you have been there awhile those miles will more than likely go away. everyone that left out the same dday we, there is only one truck left out on the road and they went from running team to solo. They will run you hard to get that maintinance account up there then whatch out.

 

Also the elogs are oppional for JCT drivers. If you stay in trouble with the log department or you have a problem logging like they need you to log, they will advise you to use elogs.

 

Scumbag lawyers will sue anytime and everytime they can. They are in hope of a quick settlement.

This winter my wife was in a minor accident in our car. It was snowing and a driver slid into my wife's car. The impact was in my wife's driver side door. She was taken to the hospital and was checked out and was sent home.

The lady that hit my wife had insurance. They paid for the damage to our car,hospital bill,rental car, and some money for pain and suffering. We were very pleased with the response from the other driver's insurance co.

About 48 hours after the accident we started recieving letters in the mail from personal injury lawers. They had looked at the accident report and were eager to get in on a law suit or part of a settlement.

This was a minor accident on a snowy day. Just think how excited they get when a commercial vehicle is involved.

 

LMB u still gettin good miles and makin good money? Oh and how fast do they have there trucks set to run is foot and cruse the same or split? thanks

 

I just love how sha continues to spread misinformation. Yes its true the em for the first few weeks will run you if you're willing to run so they know how you drive. I've been here 6 years and can tell you what shall says is false. She believes that because she's having a bad experience for whatever reason that the whole company is that way.

Elogs are not optional either. If you get a log violation then that is when elogs is activated! Currently we have about 40 trucks on eligible.

 

I know ur asking lmb but I'll give my two cents too. I'm still avg 3200 miles a week. There are weeks with more and some bad weeks just like any other company. After 6 years still one of the better companies to drive for.

 

I am new to JCT and have been running hard. I won't complain though, like the company very much. Took my first break over the weekend and going out again today. Every company has its share of unhappy people so I just ignore the negative and keep on driving.

 

Alan, is that an inhouse log violation or an actual road side inspection type of violation?

 

I talked to our safety Guy couple weeks ago and he said the otr dot log violations.
