Why would I have a problem with a Mexican truck as long as its legal?
MexicoTrucker and Pur48Ted Thank this. -
Bring em on! I need a good inspection!
Mexican carriers and vehicles must meet the same safety criteria as you do.Working Class Patriot, MexicoTrucker, Pur48Ted and 1 other person Thank this. -
Hell all the junk trucks we wore out 10~15 years ago down in Laredo have 2011 CVSA stickers on them.
But I was told by a Mexican driver for 20 bucks I could get one to. But I dont think its true, Mexico aint as corrupt as the USA. -
I gotta question for ya, what are you gonna do when you ask for a copy of the company truck Ins paper and its all in Spanish?
-
When the Mexican hauls your load while you sit in a truckstop, come back and answer!
Joetro Thanks this. -
Turn it around and send it back......
All of those rigs are supposed to meet or exceed our standards.....
Now....
If the various DOT's are allowed to do their jobs and not have some hack come in and order them to look the other way......... -
The small amount of trucks that will cross the border will be such a small % of trucks on the road compared to what's already here and needed, you won't even notice...You can't stop this, it's basically written in stone, focus on our real problem which is in D.C.....
Working Class Patriot, MexicoTrucker, Pur48Ted and 2 others Thank this. -
The only loads a Mexican truck can haul is one Originating in Mexico, is on direct route to a load To Mexico, or one that Delivers in Mexico.
This is per FMCSA Regulations.
They cannot come in here, grab multiple loads and travel America's Highways any more than Canadian trucks can.
The difference here is that Canadian trucks already meet or exceed American safety standards.
While Mexican trucks will have to upgrade to meet these standards.Diesel Dave Thanks this. -
Actually they do meet the standards....
Look who's in the game....
Swift...Hunt....Celedon......
All of their rigs meet the requirements now....Their awaiting the go ahead to start running their equipment down south...get loaded...and head to El Norte.....
