I'd really prefer that vast one year of experience taught him how to park at the truckstop without running into my truck!

Injun, MexicoTrucker and Joetro Thank this.

If you have nothing useful to say then see your way out of the thread. Am I supposed to tremble by this statement?

    I'm shaking in my boots.

When you make comments without the experience to back them up, expect to be questioned.

It doesnt take a 'genius' with 30+ years of experience to figure out some things about the industry. The reason why you sit parked at a truck stop while someone hauls your load is you. And I dont care if you have a problem with me knowing the regs.

Just a FYI, but I've been in the industry for 9 years. 1 year is what I have with my current employer, so thats all I put in my bio.

Respect is a double edged sword. If you want me to respect you then show me some respect.

Interesting, since the question is "Trucker?", not "Time at current employer?".

As for respect, I see you seem to have a disdain for those with experience. My guess is you are more in need of their respect than they are of yours.

    Working Class Patriot Thanks this.

I dont have a issue with people that have more experience. I have a problem when people use that experience to intimidate. If Im wrong then just correct me. Dont try to intimidate me and dont try to correct me with a opinion. A opinion is just a opinion, no matter how educated it is.

You assume an aufully lot about things you know nothing about. You started up with know it all remarks to everyones post, instead of having a civil conversation. With only 34 post, you're not off to a very good start making friends.

Your lack of respect and arrogance showed from the first post of yours I read, and judging by others remarks, they feel the same. You seem to want to get into a wizzing match and show your superior knowledge. Most people here prefer to debate instead of degrading. There are exceptions, but most will disagree nicely with each other.

There is no reason to come into this forum with both guns blazing. Those that know me know that I am easy to get along with.

Back to the original topic... If you don't think Mexican trucks will take your freight, you're wrong. US trucks now deliver the inbound freight from south of the border. Guess who will do that when Mexican trucks can go anywhere they wish. As hard as it is to get loaded back out of Laredo and points south now, just wait until what freight that is there is delivered by Mexican trucks.

I've said all I care to in this thread.
