    Need some suggestions for good alarm clocks, beside the screaming meanie.

    Can be mechanical, which i actually prefer.

    I used the alarm in my Sirius Sportster 5,..........Simple to set and wake up to,.......Hell with the volume cranked on the stereo one had to wake up!!!

    i like the screaman eagle it is a digital that you plug in with battery back up i like it because if i wake up i can see the time and it has a high and low setting i hate loud alarms

    I always use 2 alarms. One windup in sleeper,and one battery operated that I place where I have to get up to turn it off. Cell phone also has an alarm, I use it too.

    My cell phone has an obnoxious alarm on it that never fails to wake me up.

    What's wrong with the Screaming Meanie?
    Medium is loud enough to wake me up.
    If I put it on loud I wake the dead up....
