we do have a few runs to California but they are almost impossible to get. In over 6 years i have been to California twice other than that we do run out western side of Iowa pretty regularly. Last week i took a load out to Salina Ks to a new menards store but mainly stay east of Mississippi River

You can get the little portable 12vdc ovens and stoves from the truckstops. A lot of drivers have a bigger inverter and use a/c appliances. I just have a small inverter for my laptop.

Sitting at the Pilot in Pittston, PA. Man what a mess, very small t/s and very busy. Its a mess, avoid this one if you can. I was out of hrs so I had to stop here after being tied up for over an hour in construction on I-81 N.

I'm headed to Westfield, CT to deliver tomorrow. Weather is kind of cool and breezy but sunny.

    Be safe out there!

Living in Texas, does anyone know of a primary service area? I've had a ton of questions as to where I'll be driving. All I'm able to do is quote the web site with "48 state carrier". Where I drive isn't a big deal to me, but curious at the same time.

I'm not sure what you mean by "primary service area", but as for Texas I've been to Ft. Worth and Austin hauling beverages and glass. It varies as to what lanes we run. I run WI to the south sometimes, GA to WI, WI to PA and NY, etc...It seems like they keep you in a general area for a couple of runs then move you on to another lane.

I was in MA today, delivered in Westfield then d/h to Woburn (northeast of Boston) to pick up recyclable cardboard to deliver to Syracuse NY tomorrow. After that I'm on to Niagra Falls to pick up to deliver in Richfield.

Have a great weekend all and be safe.

Me and my trainer picked up a load of carpet in Dalton last friday, took it to Shelby IA Sunday, loaded in Shelby after 48 hour wait (Menard's D/C), and went to Peroria Il. Picked up a load in Centralia, Il, and took it to Atlanta. Now we are off until Tuesday. So you can go anywhere, on any run.

It all sounds good to me. The lanes/trips out from what's being posted are as I figured. Hopefully I'll get a chance to meet up with some you while I'm in Rchfield.

I'm running day by day on 8 hrs or less, so I won't be in Richfield until Monday sometime. May be time for a restart once I get there.

48 hrs at a Menards DC, wow thats unusual.

Pulled into Niagra Falls just to discover the pickup date is for tomorrow. Customer says no way this will be done today, check back tomorrow morn around 9. So here I sit for friggin 19 hours minimum. Guess I will unhook and go to WallyWorld since there are no truckstops near by and do some walking/shopping. Not a happy camper to say the least. Sorry for the venting.
