question about power supply

    I am a local trucker that is shoppin for a cb. But I have noticed my truck does not have the small screw connections for the cb wires like most trucks. Does anyone know if I can get a power cord to plug into ciggarette lighter instead? If so any idea where I can get one? I called customer service for cobra but the service people seem like they have no idea what I'm talkin about. Anythin can help right now. Thanks

    You can go to Radio Shack and get a Cig lighter plug and splice the wires
    into it... Make sure that Pos to Pos and neg to neg.

    My cobra came with one. My cb is not a cheapie though it ranges from 125-200 and my radio came with a good mic.
    I have seen cheaper cobras for 70 -100 those probaly do not come with a plug.

    Or even easier they sell a cigerette plug with the little screw things with it. I couldn't find a link, but its there with the CB stuff.

    Most truck stops sell a power cord with a cig adapter already on it. Just plug it in and go.
