If CRE decides to get vindictive and batter his DAC after he quits, there's not much he can do except wait out the storm. If CRE does leave a DACmark on his report, he should get retrained in another industry and go to work in that other industry until the bogus BS clears off, which will be a couple of years. With a DAC that's tainted, it'll be hard to get a job in trucking. Not to worry, though. He can use this to his advantage and get a government grant for retraining in some other industry. All he has to do is apply with a few good outfits that won't hire him. When they turn their noses up, this will be proof that he's being harmed by the DAC shenanigans, and he will become officially unemployable and can thus get training grants.

Be sneaky and use DACmarks to your advantage. A DACmark may be the best thing that ever happened to a guy if he can use it to get retrained and leave the trucking industry in a great cloud of dust forever.

Yes, the mormons are a bunch of heathens, but it's "take it or leave it" with those guys. They treat non-mormons (at least those who are working class) with disrespect in hopes they will leave Utah. And yes, they do discriminate against anyone who doesn't believe in Kobold. They even discriminate against their own kind when those folks don't keep up with their tithing. With the mormons, it's all about the green stuff. This is why we non-mormons have such a tough time in Utah. We're not in the loop, so we don't get the doors to the good jobs opened for us. We get those doors that we're lucky enough to find open simply slammed in our faces.

Posting CR England is a crap place to work is like stating the sky is blue, winter in Alaska is cold, water is wet, and ####### have low IQs. Reminds me of the old Saturday Night Live Weather Report - tonight it will be dark!

    Tip,

Once again as in the previous 28 pages you reply with the same type of response! Which believe me when I tell you I diligently went through all 28 pages of this thread, I have read your take on CRE.

I also have a great respect for anyone who takes the time to articulately share their opinion, experience or wisdom. Therefore I personally am not disreagarding what you or anyone else has said in the negative or truthful in regards to CR England.

However I want to make two points and hope you will think about these 2 points before responding.

    Point 1
Repeatedly you and other forum members have ignored to answer the simple questions of many newbies such as myself. IF NOT CRE THAN WHERE? Simple question of please help us getting ignored repeatedly under the advice of " Hey Dummy dont do it". Okay than where?

    Point 2
Anyone who has had a positive success story, (5 total in 28 pages of post in this thread) has either been ignored or slammed. Which is okay by me it's not my forum, however I will take both opinions under advisement and hear both sides. I would also like to point out a few of my friends are OTR drivers and personally know a few CRE OTR drivers who are happy with their current carreer choice.

All this is to say I personally have not chosen CRE, in fact I intentionally told the recruiter I was unavailable for 3 weeks so I could do proper research and explore other options.

Finally in regards to the comment about NASA, PALLEEEAAASSSE.......

Are you serious, this sounds like a comparison between a Corvette and a malibu.........NO comparison.......without admitting the fact that trucking companies accross the board have a HIGHER than average national turnover this would be misleading and blinding.

However if the fact that they (CRE) have made a business decision to intentionally create a turnover environment for Gross Profits (which it appears as if they have). That is not only immoral but again back to my initial post is a terrible environment for a Newbie.

So How about some of you old salty Dog's helping us newbies out and tell us WHERE............WHERE...........WHERE......

WE POST HERE BECAUSE CRE INTENTIONALY TARGETS NEW PEOPLE FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE TRYING TO ENTER THE OTR LIFE......

Where? Good question? Some people enjoy Central, they don't seem to push the lease on you.

JT, let me start off by saying I hope your real name isn't JT Highfield. Revealing personal info on a site like this is a good way to get burned later. You should change your username if that is the case. You'd better believe trucking is filled to the brim with vindictive insiders.

It's good to see you're taking a few weeks before jumping into orientation to explore your options. Some guys will decide in five minutes (or even five seconds) which company to go with, and dance all the way to orientation thinking they've struck gold. Some even will wear a company's ball-cap before they even know anything about the outfit. Idiocy is what that is. So, yeah, it's good to see you're being careful.

This is what I want my posts to do, ultimately. If I make you a skeptic and help you avoid being a sucker, I've succeeded. Right or wrong, consensus or not, if you are taking the time to research the posts of all of us here, we've all won. The mindset has been established.

Now that you have a new sketpical mindset and know how to spot certain kinds of outfits, you should go out and find the company you want to work for. Don't depend on me or anyone else any further. You're ready to take flight.

Plenty of guys will tell you which outfits to go with and which to stay away from, and they're right most of the time. But ultimately, you must be the one to make the final decision, as you are the one who will be living with that decision.

You've got three weeks, so go, cat, go. While you're searching, see if NASA is hiring any janitors. If they're not, ask how long the waiting list is.

Don't be like a runaway train here. Don't keep rolling toward signing the LP contract. Come to a full stop and look around for a bit. Take your time in making a decision. It's your life, and you'll be living with the consequences, after all.

If anyone is rushing you into anything, just tell him to "chill". Any deal that's good today will be good tomorrow if it is indeed good.
