I wouldn't be concerned as long as you have been up front and honest with them on your background and driving record. Also make sure that your vision is good and if you do wear glasses, that they are the correct prescription. I've seen a couple sent home because of the vision exam. If you have all your ducks in a row and no surprises in your past then you won't have any trouble. Just show interest and pay attention in orientation. Show that you are anxious to learn and be a team player. Good luck and keep us posted!

 

Congrats! watch your back and don't let the friendly testers talk to you when you are being tested. They are trying to trip you up,that friendly tester is trying to get you to make a mistake and stick a knife in your back. They bring 700-1000 recruits per week every week into their driver mill and it's not because they are buying that many new trucks. They make taxpayer funds from each person they train and get freight moved at very low cost by using trainees as team drivers. It's a revolving door meat grinder you just entered; the trainers are good but the chances of you making it are slim.Watch your back!

That is not far from what the bunkhouse at the old Deaton terminal in Birmingham looked like when I first arrived in '94!!

 

There are new drivers that do just fine at werner.
