You can make alot of money with JCT as long as you stay away from their shop and you never go home. You are looking at 700.00 a week for your truck payment including tags, ins. and ect. If you want home time you had better stay a company driver. By leasing their truck you are just making their truck payment for them. The truck will be wore out by the time you get it paid for. They charge you 15% for parts of your lease.

Never go home? That over exaggeration. If you want to go hone every 2-3 weeks than yes stay a company driver. I stay out avg 4-5 weeks and take 3-4 days off and still make a check after taking time off. You will need to time when when you send in your trips. So your truck having miles on it after lease is somehow bad? It just shows we don't sit like most other companies. If you live on i40 you'd probably be by the house once a week.

I do drive for JCT as a team with my husband and we do make good money, but you will go under real quick if you take any home time. If you have no bills to pay you would be ok. You do get plenty of miles to pay your lease and take home. (Like I said as long as you dont take home time,) You would be better off to get your truck else wheres and then lease on with JCT. When you lease a truck through JCT they own the truck and they want you to get all repairs done at their shop and usually keeps your escrow drained or in the red. If you buy your truck else where they cant tell you were to take your truck for repairs, but on the other hand. If you cant afford the repairs they dont have to advance you the money to pay for it as they would if you lease one of their trucks and use their shop. This is how all lease companies work. You will not get a brand new truck when you first start with JCT. You get what other drivers have turned back in when leaving the company or trading up. As for any company you had better know that you will go under quickley as an O/O if you have alot of personal bills if you take any home time. You will be married to that truck until it is paid for. Good Luck

Now you're going to spread misinformation around? Just cuz your experience is bad and possibly not figuring out when to take hometime you want to whine? The only time you are required to get repairs done at jct is if you are in the red on your maintenance account. You are still able to do your pm on the road. The truck you get at orientation is whatever is available at the time. If they don't have any new ones available then of course you can't get a new truck. After 90 days you can be able to trade in for something else on the yard as long as its an upgrade and you meet their requirements. I've been here over 5 years and never go in the Hoke taking honetime. Our cut off on trips are on Wednesday night so I take my hometime on Friday til Monday. Most the time I am able to turn 2 trips in. One before hometime and one after. Sorry sha that y'all are not having a good experience but that's just y'all not understanding how to increase your profits

No its not misinformation. About home time, This is true of any lease program. If you are layed over, down for repairs or any other reasons, you usually can't afford to take home time because you have spent your days down on the road. You guys lead these people to beleave that this lease thing is a great deal. If they dont know all the pros and cons of it before going into it they will likely fail. I don't whine, the facts are what they are. As far as having your truck worked on at the shop of your choice is not true. I know from my own experiances with JCT. I'm not saying JCT is a bad company to work for. If it was I wouldnt still be driving for them. They are probably one of the better companies to work for. As a team driver I think they could do a little better as far as assigning loads to teams. A teams truck should never be sitting when it comes to loads. I know they have the loads to keep teams running, so I'm not sure what there deal is with that. You said your buddies are teams and running good? Don't know what they consider good. When I have to sit more than 24hrs. this is not good. I know so far we have probably spent over 8000.00 in repairs on our truck and it only had around 2000 on it when we took it over. Our DM said they had drivers 15,000. to 30,000. in the red on their maintance accounts. We keep a positive in our maintance accout as a rule. These are all things one needs to consider before getting into a lease.

on an earlier post you just said if you take hometime you will go under real quick. You never mentioned due to repairs etc. yes if you're broke down and you're no where near the yard you will possibly be sitting several days to get repairs done. As far as lay over, the longest I've ever laid over was 24 hours, and that is very rare with JCT.

When it comes to slow normally around thanksgiving and christmas every year the miles will drop a little. Yes the team Im talking about is the ones who started the JCT thread and they currently not here due to medical reasons. When they were here, they made an average of around $3100 a week take home with around 5600 miles a week.

If you were positive on your maintenance account there was no reason you can't go to another shop other than jct shop. What type of repairs are we talking about?? yes those people with the 15k to 30k in the red are the one that probably had a engine rebuilt, that happens in this industry, trucks do break down unfortunately.

Do yall ever turn down any loads? I don't see why yall would be sitting that long, unless everytime yall end up in a bad area.
