We are in 2011 Winnipeg Motor Express ont of Winnpeg, Manitoba sucks. They pay $0.35 a mile with no miles as company driver. They pay 1.07 base a mile with no miles. They lie to get you in the door then they stick it to you.. Who can really live off of $0.35 a mile with no miles. They lease to own program is the biggest scam as well. They are all criminals. The industry should set a base running pay per mile. I hard the recuiter is at the flying J in Winnipeg everyday at lunch time trying to get more driver. You think $0.35 a mile as a company driver or $1.07 base is low add on the deductions. Just go on welfare atfer that you make more on walfare. Winnipeg Motor Express is a big con game. Not even part-time wage. "WINNIPEG MOTOR EXPRESS SUCK DON'T WORK FOR THEM IF YOU PLAN ON SOME KIND OF A FUTURE FOR YOURSEL". SEE FOR YOURSELF YOU DO THE MATH.

I wish I had seen these posts about Winnipeg Motor Express before I signed on with them. I am an owner op who hauled their crap for 12000 miles and was paid 2,100. They have to be the worst company to work for. The owner is a real gem who can't be trusted. Stay away!:biggrin_25510:

things arent much better. I signed on with them back in nov 2011, and the BS I went thru was enough to almost make me quit... But of course I stuck it out. I had no experience so to find a company who was will to give a new driver fresh out of driving school a chance especially at that time of year was/is rare! Went thru training which is really like driving super single than anything. Got put into my own truck in Feb cuz I was doing all driving and they had a bunch of drivers quit. Needless to say the poster that said go on welfare u will make more has their number. Sat me at home for a month, no pay end of march, wouldnt cover medical as they sat me, and not even 2 days after payday and got $50 left til next payday... Needless to say I wont be there much longer. Get my experience and get better job. They treat their drivers like crap, and have very little concern for them. Have to be persistent to get work done on truck. Its not a company I would work for by choice, especially if had experience, but we all have to start elsewhere:biggrin_25513:

they were 'unable' to get me a load out of vancouver... Supposedly, although I spoke with 2 drivers that were in the same area on layover a few days after I was on call, and they got loads out before I did, even though I was first in cue... They dont pay layover for sitting drivers at home while waiting for dispatch so lets sit them so we dont have to pay layovers... the one driver sat for 8days and the other for 11 1/2 days before finally getting a dispatch out... Needless to say that driver is no longer with the company... Like he said that was the last they would ever screw him out of miles... I guess thats why drivers keep dropping like flies!!!

Drivers with WME can expect to average anywhere from 3,000 to 7,000 miles a month... 8,000 If your lucky enough! Although they promise 10,000 to 12,000 a month when they hire you... and a bonus for doing over 11,000 miles a month
