Every trash load i've every seen was not worth hauling. The money stinks and the landfills are a nightmare unless you do just a local deal. Trash loads out of New England going to VA pay around $1.25 a mile.

I have driven here in Oz doing trash, the money the boss got was good and he paid his drivers well. the sites are a pain in the backside, and the loads can be very dangerous because you never know if the load is top heavy or heavy to one side of the trailer, the ground where you tip off the load can have a hard crust on top and be soft underneath, so when you reverse into position it all looks good then you start to tip the load and the ground gives way and then you have to hold on tight and drop the trailer before the whole truck tips over. FUN and EXCITING STUFF, but the pay is good
