Ohh you dont mess with California, they will give u a ticket even if you look at a cop the wrong way.. Sorry about that but dont know how much he will get ding for that
-
Two words. California sucks! They're full of crap with their speed limit, too. Next time a pig pulls you over for going over 55... ask him if he'd tow his boat at 55. I bet he doesn't.

Maybe that ticket will help your husband out,
in the long run................. -
Off ramp tickets are BS. If a driver is out of hrs and there is no rest stop or they are full what are you suppose to do? They was a terrible accident here a few years ago I'm sure everyone has heard of (involved the mix up with the Taylor students) that got people killed because a driver was out of hrs and stopped on a off ramp and a state trooper made him move when he was already a sleep. Just let them be. If your over and out of the way what's the problem. Sorry but this really bugs me.

If you are parked there, and a vehicle slams into you,
you're screwed !!!!!groundpounder and Rollover the Original Thank this. -
That went out in the 70'sRollover the Original and bbqguy Thank this.

That should be a non-moving violation, no points. Did the Cop put the ticket on the windshield or drag hubby out and make him produce his license etc.?
-
I agree. But I also believe there should be no parking there too. I've seen off ramps where the trucks are pulled on the side all the way out to the interstate. I'm sure there's been numerous accidents because a driver didn't pull his truck off as far as he should have. Besides all that who's going to be held responsible for the accedent if a car slams into the truck?
If your planning is that poor use a little common sense and park on the on ramp side. There's less chance of someone running into you.otherhalftw and dwayne Thank this. -
What city and which off ramp did they get him on ?
